2014 Platinum Proofs

As the “most precious of the precious metals,” the $100 Platinum Eagle bears the highest legal tender value of any U.S. investment coin. The elite Proof versions of the coin are the only ones of their type to feature a unique design for every year of issue, and are struck in very small numbers, making them a perennial favorite among savvy numismatic investors.

In recent years the Mint has introduced them late in the year, in July or August. For 2014, however, the lauch date is being pushed all the way back to October 20th, due to the five special coins being struck to honor the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy Half Dollar. Collectors, investors and dealers alike are so focused on the exciting Kennedy issues that production of the 2014 Platinum Eagle Proof will be light at best. Coupled with an unusually small window of availability, the stage is set for rock-bottom mintage numbers.

Low mintage numbers drive collector value. We’re now accepting advance orders for NGC-certified Ultra Cameo Proof-70 specimens, at such a low price that other dealers will cringe. That’s just one more example of why we’re a new kind of coin dealer™  Call NOW to ensure pricing and availability, or to receive a print copy of this offer!

W Mint "burnished" American Eagle Gold

At a casual glance the coin you see here appears to be a grade-certified American Eagle $50 gold bullion coin, highly desirable in perfect MS-70 grade, but hardly rare. Look closely and you’ll notice it bears the “W” mintmark from the Mint’s elite West Point facility. That one tiny letter makes a world of difference! “W” Mint specimens, known as Uncirculated or “burnished”  Gold Eagles, are struck in very small numbers, and 2014 may witness one of the lowest mintage numbers in the coin’s history. That’s why we’re encouraging investors and collectors to act now, while they’re still available at current issue pricing!

You should act now to acquire these coins! Here’s why:

Each Fall the Mint winds down production of current issues in order to begin striking coins to meet demand in the coming year. October typically brings announcements from the Mint that various issues have sold out and will no longer be available. The moment this happens dealers and collectors will have a good idea of the final  mintage number, and if it’s as low as current numbers suggest, the 2014 issue will enjoy greatly enhanced potential for numismatic value. Call now while they’re still available at low current-issue pricing, and to request a print copy of this offer!
